Travel to Gap-Tallard Aerodrome is cheap and easy with several budget airlines taking you to France. Airports include Marseille, Grenoble, Paris and Nice.

Marseille is easily reached from London Gatwick. From the Airport there is a link to the train station (Marseille St.Charles) where you may take the train to Gap. If flying from the North then Ryan Air fly from Glasgow (Prestwick) and Edinburgh direct to Marseille. Alternatively you can fly direct to Paris from the UK, take the bus link to the train station and board the overnight sleeper to Gap. This train has stunning views, a bar and restaurant car and you arrive in Gap refreshed for your course (Alpine Vol 5 star recommendation).

If you fly to Grenoble there is a 90 minute train hop to Gap. Flights to Nice are also on the budget airline route, but you must either take the train to Gap or drive the spectacular "Napoleon Route" from Nice to Gap in a hire car.
