Instructor Profiles
Marcus Dalgetty: Chief flying instructor at the
school with over 4000 hours of tuition in both the alps and in the
UK. Marcus is a flying instructor examiner and will be offering
instructor courses at Tallard in 2008. He has also achieved the
longest flight in one day from point to point of 1,040 miles (Perth,
Scotland to Gap-Tallard) in a standard machine without assistance.
A keen hang glider pilot with a wide variety of general aviation
experience. Other qualifications include microlight inspector ,
Rotax engineer and check pilot.
Bill Davis: A full flying instructor rating with
over 1500 hours of microlight flying. He was the second pilot on
the "furthest flight in a day" record attempt. Bill has
a high level of experience in mountain flying and is happiest when
doing long navigations.
Simon Jeffrey: Simon has a full flying
instructor rating. He is also a flight examiner and a Radio examiner
for the initial issue of the flight and RT ratings. Simon is a BMAA
inspector and check pilot and has over two thousand hours of flying
under his belt. Recently Simon has started to learn to hang glide
so as he can exploit the amazing conditions near Gap. So no matter
what you want to fly Simon is waiting to hear from you!
